Chehre, the movie is an adaptation of a 1956 German novel named A Dangerous Game, that was written by Friedrich Durrenmatt. The same pattern was also portrayed in another Marathi movie which went by the name Shantata! Court Chaalu Aahe. Moreover, the idea of the movie is so popular that it has also been pictured in kannada and Bengali movies.
The movie is about an old man aged 80, who goes around life games, making right and wrong decisions and contemplating them. The movie was released in the theaters on 27 August 2021 and Chehre has been reviewed by IMDb with a 7/10 score ever since.
Chehre – The Storyline CHEHRE comes off as a psycho thriller where things take a turn for the worse for a normal corporate guy, Sameer Mehra, when his car gets stuck while returning to his native town of Delhi.
He is helped by Paramjeet Singh Bhullar, a retired law professional. He, along with his friends decide to play a game with Sameer where they put him on trial for a crime, and if he wins the trial, the game would stop. Little did he know about the ulterior motives of Param and co. and by the time Sameer knew that he got off on the wrong foot with the wrong people, it was too late.
