Are you team Paxton or Team Ben? Let me tell you I am team Ben. That may be controversial but I just love them. From Academic rivals to lovers!! It’s not that I hate Paxton Yoshida. I like him so much and especially in Season 3 he played his role very nicely. But when is Never Have I ever Season 4 coming?
Never Have I Ever Overview Never Have I Ever is a comedy- romance drama starring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi Vishwakumar. Maitreyi Ramakrishnan is a high school student who is dealing with her father’s sudden death. Many times she even feels that her father is near her. Besides that, her best friends Eleanor and Fabiola in school support her so much. Let me tell you one thing before writing about plots. Devi Vishwakumar’s life is like a rollercoaster. You will know after reading the plots.
Never Have I Ever Season 1 Plot After her father’s death, Devi faces a psychological trauma and loses senses in her legs. But one day a miracle happens and she stands in order to see her crush Paxton Yoshida. Devi starts going to school daily. She and her academic rival Ben quarrels regularly in classes and outside classes.
No No the story doesn’t end here. So, Devi also has a cousin, Kamala who lives with her. She tries to hide her college boyfriend from everyone but as expected, a smart devi finds out about their relationship.
On the other hand her two best friends also face problems in life. Eleanor finds her mother back in town after years and on the other hand Fabiola struggles to come out as a gay.
In the following season, Devi decides to have sex with paxton but things doesn’t work like she wants to. Also, her psychiatrist Dr. Jamie Ryan played a vital role in the series.

Never Have I Ever Season 2 Plot Season 1 ended when Ben and Devi kissed each other. Devi Viswakumar calls her friends at home so that they can help her choose between Ben and Paxton. Later on she decides to double date and one day both the boys get to know about it.
After that, a new girl, Aneesa arrives and suddenly Devi becomes jealous of her. Soon, Devi starts tutoring Paxton and once again they become friends. The protagonist also gets jealous of Aneesa because she and Ben start dating each other.
After being on a school trip, Devi spreads a rumour about Aneesa that she has an eating disorder and in the end Devi requests her mother Nalini to convince Aneesa’s mom so that she doesn’t change her school.
After Devi’s tutoring lessons, Paxton gets good grades and he sneaks peaks in Devi’s room from her window. They make out with each other but next morning Paxton behaves like nothing happened.
Things get weird between them and Nalini decides to send Devi back to India.
Moreover, she goes to India but she brings Mohan’s mom with her so that they all can stay together. At the end, Paxton confesses his feelings to Devi and they kiss each other.
Never Have I Ever Season 3 Plot Season 3 was released recently on Netflix. Rotten Tomatoes rated the series 91%. In Season 3, Devi and Paxton start dating each other and on the other hand Aneesa and Ben are still dating each other. Fabiola and her girlfriend broke up with each other and now she is again giving her time to robots.
But the happiness doesn’t last and due to Devi’s insecurities Paxton breaks up with her and on the other side Aneesa breaks up with Ben. She also kisses Fabiola after her match. Later they both start dating each other. Devi applies for a new school but she ends up not going to that school.
Season 3 had a new cast member, Des. Yes, the hot hunk. Des and Devi dated each other but in the end Des ditched Devi as she broke down in the school function. His mom told him to break up with Devi and he turned out to be a mommy’s boy because his mom pays his phone bill.
Also, Devi’s school teacher starts dating her cousin Kamala and Devi’s grandmother doesn’t accept their relationship so she moves out with Mr.K.
At the end, Devi goes to Ben with a “free boink card” he gave her earlier. What do you think is going to happen next? Will they get romantically involved with each other?
Never Have I Ever Season 4 Plot (Expected) I am damn sure that Season 4 is going to be the best season of the whole series. As Devi has to choose between Ben and Paxton. During an Interview with USA today Daren said that “I have a good feeling Paxton may make an appearance in Season 4,” I feel like I’ve added enough value to the show with three seasons that they wouldn’t just write me out. Also, I haven’t been a diva.”
Also, Jaren Lewison said in an interview “Whatever happens, whether they do or they don’t have sex, it definitely will change their dynamic. And co-creator Mindy Kaling always says stable relationships are boring,”. “I know what happens because we’ve already shot the fourth season and it is killing me not to tell you. But we’ll have to see. We’ll have to see how they go about the aftermath of if they did or they didn’t.” OMG.
In the teaser we saw that Paxton said “Come on guys. You cannot get rid of me that easily. Paxton is back, baby.” Glad the teaser informed us that Paxton is still going to be a part of the show. During the end of Season 3 I kinda thought that he was leaving.
Season 4 will also tell us about what will happen with Mr.K and Kamala. I suspect that Kamala and Mr.K are going to be married because in the teaser they said that there is going to be a wedding. I still cannot believe that Season 4 is happening.
Has Season 4 of Never Have I Ever Finished Filming? The answer is YES!!! On 3rd August 2022, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan posted on twitter that “we wrapped filming!! It’s all done! I feel so grateful and overwhelmed with emotions.”

Never Have I Ever Season 4 Release Date As the filming has already completed so Never Have I Ever Season 4 will be released in early 2023. Or maybe in December 2022? Who knows. But I am sure that Season 4 is going to hit. Netflix will soon be releasing the date for Season 4.

Are There Any New Cast Members? On July 08 2022, Michael Cimino announced that he is going to be part of the upcoming series, Never Have I Ever Season 4. He posted a picture on instagram and wrote a caption “SO EXCITED TO FINALLY ANNOUNCE THESE PROJECTS!!

Also, during an interview, Lang Fisher said that Nalini will get a new love interest named Andres in the fourth season. This role will be played by Ivan Hernandez.

Who Is Devi Going To Choose in Season 4 The showmakers informed us that Season 4 is going to be the last season of the series as they don’t want it to stretch. So, now Devi has to choose between Paxton or Ben. This is the main question amongst Never Have I Ever fans. According to me it’s Ben. Not because I am from team Benvi but because Ben is always with Devi when she is in trouble. When he dated Aneesa he used to think about Devi and vice versa.
Wrapping Up This was it for Never Have I Ever Season 4. Keep thinking about who Devi will choose. I don’t hate Paxton but he is not someone who will be giving reassurance to Devi. I know that Devi has insecurities and all but everyone is insecure about at least one thing. Ben knows how to comfort someone with words. So, yea let’s see what is going to happen next.
