Akshay Kumar is back with another movie called Ram Setu, an action-adventure film along with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead role. The movie is directed by Abhishek Sharma popular for Tere Bin Laden and Suraj pe Mangal Bhari movies. Ram Setu was released on 25 October on the occasion of Diwali and ran strongly in theaters.
Storyline of the Movie “Ram Setu” Ram Setu is based on the bridge built between India and Sri Lanka. This bridge has great importance for Indians, it is mentioned in Ramayana and according to that, it is built by Lord Ram and his army to invade Lanka to save the Mata Sita from Ravana. The Ram Setu has great mythological importance and we all grow up hearing the stories of Ramayana, how Ram Ji built the bridge over the sea with the legend Hanuman and other important members.
