Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani is a bollywood movie which was released in 2009. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor who has recently become a parent of a baby girl after the release of Brahmastra and Katrina Kaif recently seen in Phone Bhoot . Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani has also received several nominations and Ranbir Kapoor won the award for Best Actor. This movie is my all time favourite movie because it has action, comedy and romance. It is currently streaming on Voot.
Storyline of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani Prem Shankar Kumar is a free spirited guy who one day meets a girl named “Jenny”. Prem and Jenny both share a characteristic which is stammering while getting emotional. One day, Prem stammers in front of her and she misunderstands it. She thinks that he is teasing her. Therefore, she starts hating him.
After sometime, she gets to know that his problem is real so she befriends him while Prem falls in love with her. One day, Jenny tells Prem that she is in love with a boy named “Rahul” who also loves her more than his family. Prem meets Rahul and decides to help them so that they can run away.
Jenny reaches the station but after that she finds out Rahul is missing. She walks back to Prem and asks for another favour. They find out that Rahul’s dad, who is a politician, doesn’t like Jenny as she is a christian. Prem again helps Jenny and with his mom’s permission she hides her in his house. But an unfortunate event happens and they get caught.
Jenny lies to the police officer and tells that she and Prem love each other. Prem gets emotional and confesses his feelings to Jenny which she misinterprets as overreacting. Soon, Jenny and Prem reach a club where Rahul celebrated his birthday. Rahul informs Prem that he and Jenny will marry after two days. But the next day Jenny gets kidnapped.
Prem and his friends find Jenny and fight with the kidnappers who were intentionally sent by Rahul’s father so that his son cannot marry Jenny. Things get on track and Rahul- Jenny finally plans to marry each other. On the other hand, Prem leaves town but a stranger asks him a favour. He asks Prem to give him directions as he cannot reach an address.
Prem enters the town again to drop the stranger and ends reaching a church where Jenny was already waiting for him as she gets to know that Rahul and his family members were just toxic and only Prem loved her.
The conclusion of the story is that Jesus Christ helped Prem as a stranger so both of them can reunite and marry each other. At the end, Prem and Jenny get married.
