The story is about a gangster and Police force. It definitely has the touch of Gangs of Wasseypur, Bhaukal, Mirzapur as well as Prakash Jha’s many other films, but it somehow stands out due to the storyline and screenplay. Chandan Mahato (Avinash Tiwari), a criminal or gangster who is out of reach of everyone, is at the target of young IPS (Karan Tiker) from Rajasthan, how he catches him is what the series is about.
It has a complete journey that begins from scratch. The story consists of seven episodes, but the main fun begins from the fifth episode. Till then, we can witness the evolution of the characters of both criminal and police and their shift from a nobody to something important. This is what keeps the story engaging. However, more than a captivating story, it does the right treatment to all the characters and the essence of the story without adding unnecessary drama. For being the story of Bihar, the politicians’ nexus along with caste-based entanglements of both the criminal and the police have also been depicted really well. This series is one of a kind in the world of gangster vs police genre.
