It’s always fun and exciting to see the actors do comic roles whom we have always seen in serious roles. Just like Vicky Kaushal, we have seen his supreme performance in Uri, Sardar Udham Singh , and Raazi . But what’s expected in these movies is that he has been given a much more serious role.
Well, not anymore, because Hotstar has dropped another banger named Govinda Naam Mera. Vicky plays the role of Govinda, along with Kiara Advani, the famous Shershaah and Kabir Singh girl, and Bhoomi Pandekar, the one from Badhaai Do and Raksha Bandhan .
Govinda Naam Mera – The Storyline Govinda Waghmare is a choreographer stressed by his arrogant and mean wife, Gauri. He also has a girlfriend, Suku, who is a dancer. The house he lives in is legally his but has been on trial for the past few years when his father’s first family claimed it to be their house.
One day he returns home and sees his wife lying on the ground dead. Suku and Govinda decide to hide her body and make her go away forever this time. But somehow, the circumstances are formed that there is a murder mystery going on for his wife.
Soon enough, he finds out that his girlfriend, Suku, has been working with the other party to frame him only. That’s when he creates the plan to free himself and his family.
