Gujarati Movie ‘Chhello Divas’ is a coming-of-age comedy film released in 2015. Despite not being a mainstream film, the movie has managed to grab an IMDb rating of 8.3/10. This film also has a Hindi remake called ‘Days of Tafree’.
The Storyline of the Movie ‘Chhello Divas’ The film starts with the five friends going to a restaurant after the last exam of their final year of college. On their way, Vicky (Malhar Thakar) gets into an accident and is badly injured. The storyline then shifts to the past, where Vicky sleeps at home, whereas his friend Nikhil (Yash Soni) is waiting for him at the college entrance gate.
Unable to find his friend near the entrance, Nikhil calls him. Vicky lies about his whereabouts and says he is about to reach the college. After waiting a long time, Nikhil calls Vicky again and starts cursing at him, unaware that it is Vicky’s father on the other side of the call. The film then introduces all Eight friends with their side of the story. The film further consists of many humorous scenes. We see these characters growing out of their intolerant and immature personalities and learning to trust and depend on each other through various incidents. The movie ends with a flashback, and we return to the night of Vicky’s accident.
