The Storyline of the Movie ‘Kurup’ The movie starts around the time of the send-off event that was to be held for Krishnadas (Indrajit Sukumaran), a former SP of Kerala Police. When a curious police officer finds a diary regarding the Charlie murder case, he can’t resist reading it.
The movie then shifts to the past, where Gopikrishna Kurup (Dulquer Salmaan) is sent to the Indian Air Force forcibly by his family and meets Peter (Sunny Wayne). Both friends are sent to Bombay, where Peter starts enjoying his life, and Kurup falls in love with Sharadamma (Sobhita Dhulipala). Some time goes by when Peter is informed of Kurup’s suicide. But when Sharadamma gets a message of Kurup being alive, she meets him in a subway. Kurup tells her about his fake death and changing his name to Sudhakara Kurup.
Both of them get married and start a new life in Persia. The movie then skips forward to Kurup trying to fake his death again. But he wasn’t so lucky this time around. The police team is led by the clever DYSP Krishnadas, who sees through the fake evidence and chases after Kurup.
The narration returns to Kurup, who unveils the truth about his life in Persia. As the movie nears its end, Kurup gets ambushed by Prince Walid (Walid Riachy) and Das.
