Sushant Singh Rajput was an Indian model and Bollywood actor who hailed from Patna, Bihar. He had acted in a few TV serials before he did his debut Indian film. Although, he was a part of only a few movies but he still received appreciation for his acting and dancing skills. He died on 14th June 2020 by suicide and was found hanging at his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai.

In 2015, he got slapped by his ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande as he was completely drunk and dancing with girls around him.
In 2018, he reportedly abused his fans who gathered outside his house in Mumbai.
Again in 2018, he got involved in MeToo Movement when her pending release ‘Dil Bechara’ co-star ‘Sanjana Sanghi’ accused him of sexually harassing her on the sets of the film. However, later on, Sushant shared the screenshots of their chats to justify himself and Sanjana also wrote on Twitter that no such incident took place and all rumors are baseless.

Sushant Singh was from a middle-class family in Bihar, India.He lost his mother at the age of 16 years and he was very close to his mother.
Although he was a bright student and got 7th rank in AIEEE exam but due to his interest in theatres, he left his mechanical engineering just before 1 year of completion. So he was not a graduate and only completed his higher secondary education.
He cleared 11 engineering exams and was also a National Olympiad winner in Physics.
While Sushant was doing his graduation, he developed an interest in dancing and joined Shiamak Davar’s dance group.
Because of his talent and dedication towards dancing, Shiamak gave him a chance to perform in Filmfare Awards and Commonwealth games (2006).
To make a career in acting, he dropped out of his third year of college.
Sushant also worked as an assistant director to Mohit Suri in ‘Raaz 2’ before acting.
He was offered a role in TV serial ‘Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil’ after which he bagged another TV serial ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and played the role of Manav .
His performance as Manav became the reason for his entry in Bollywood.
He participated in ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4’ (2010) and was one of the runners up of the show.
‘Kai Po Che’ was his Bollywood Debut that happened in 2013. Sushant was reportedly offered roles in movies like ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ by Sanjay Leela Bhansali but was later replaced by Ranveer Singh .During his struggling days, he used to live in a single bedroom kitchen with 6 other boys.

Initially, he came to Mumbai with 3 dreams, to work in Yash Raj Films , to do a Pepsi ad and to be on the cover of Filmfare Magazine and he achieved them all.
As per reports, M.S Dhoni charged Rs. 20 crores for sharing his life story for the film and Sushant’s film ‘M.S. Dhoni-The Untold Story’ was made on a budget of 80 crores.

Sushant Singh Shocking Suicide On 14 June 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput ended his life by hanging himself at his Bandra flat in Mumbai. After his death, it was told he was suffering from depression from the last six months that his close friends and family knew about. He was found hanging in his room on Sunday morning when he didn’t open the door after being knocked several times. His post-mortem reports revealed the reason of death as Asphyxia.
The entire Bollywood fraternity was shocked by the actor’s sudden demise as he was doing well with his movies and was fulfilling his dreams as well. However, on interrogation, it was anticipated that Sushant was not being treated well by the Bollywood and the top production banners started boycotting him.
