Storyline of the Tamil Movie “Gatta Kusthi” Veera is an orthodox man that believes in the patriarchal system of society and thus wants a submissive wife who is not educated, is homely, and has long hair. He rejects many girls in search of finding her so-called perfect wife.
On the other hand, we have Keerthi, who is a wrestling champion but is forced to marry soon as he is not well. She sees Veera but decides to marry him because he refuses any dowry and shows respect toward her family.
As the uncle of Keerthi is the matchmaker, he teaches her everything that Veera likes and makes her wear a wig of long hair. But soon after marriage, Veera gets to know the reality of Keerthi as she saves him from an attack of goons. Now, Veera decides to learn wrestling to prove himself above Keerthi.
