Govinda and Salman Khan’s ‘Partner’ is the kind of movie we love and the kind of movie that Bollywood is known for. You will love the movie with its talented cast, superb songs, and not to forget Govinda’s comic timing to make you laugh out loud.
Released in 2007, directed by David Dhawan, Partner is one of the best movies of Salman Khan that did amazingly at the box office as well.
The Storyline of the Movie ‘Partner’ Prem the ‘Love Guru’ believes that he knows about women too much to make a living out of it. He plays cupid for those destitute men who can’t fend for themselves in the department of love. Bhaskar Diwakar Chaudhary meets Prem as one of his clients. Bhaskar loves his boss Priya, but every time he thinks of expressing his feelings to her, their differences get highlighted in front of his eyes.
However, Love Guru denies his help to Bhaskar, saying that he will never be able to win Priya’s heart, and flies off to Phuket for a family holiday. Bhaskar being Bhaskar follows him there and, at last, succeeds in getting Prem to agree to help him.
Prem and Bhaskar’s mission to woo Priya begins, and in the meantime, Prem meets a photojournalist Naina, who is a single mom. Prem plans to woo Naina by befriending her son. Bhaskar and Prem manage to make the ladies fall in love with them.
Soon enough, there is trouble in paradise as Priya’s father fixes her marriage to a wealthy businessman. They leave immediately to stop the wedding along with Naina’s son, Rohan, without Naina’s knowledge. However, it turns out that Neha is a photographer at Priya’s wedding, and she gets angry at Prem for obvious reasons.
However, bringing Rohan along turns out in their favor as Rohan does the impossible and manages to convince Priya’s father to marry her off to Bhaskar. He manages to convince his mother to marry Prem.
There was love in their paradise when a man named Neil Bakshi came as a parasite to suck off their happiness. He falsely accused Prem of helping him to set up a one-night stand with a girl. That girl turned out to be Naina’s friend.
Naina breaks off their relationship and publishes an article on the front page exposing the “love guru” she also mentions the Priya-Bhaskar example, which leads to Priya feeling betrayed, and she also breaks up her relationship with Bhaskar.
But as they say, all’s well that ends well, ‘Partner’ ends with the clearing up of these misunderstandings by the boys, and both the couples get married and live happily ever after.
