Happy Bhag Jayegi is a chaotic love story of Happy and Guddu! Taking the chaotics to a whole new level, the couple while eloping land in Lahore, Pakistan!! With a stellar cast and amazing performances, the movie is sure to take you on a laughter riot, endless chuckles, and a sweet smile at the end.
The Storyline of The Movie ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ is a story of Happy and her college sweetheart Guddu who is unemployed but is a passionate musician. Happy’s father is against their union and forces her to marry Bagga, who is a local merchant.
On her engagement night, Happy decides to run away with Guddu. However, things don’t go as per their plan, and Happy finds herself on a truck that is destined for Lahore and lands her in the house of Bilal, the son of the ex-governor.
In India, things aren’t rosy for Guddu either as he is held hostage by Bagga in a hope of Happy’s return looking for Guddu.
After Happy’s unsuccessful attempt in trying to flee Bilal’s house, she is arrested by a local police officer Usman Afridi who gets to know the truth on questioning Happy. He deems it fit to inform Bilal in order to avoid unnecessary controversy if the news about Happy gets out.
Bilal makes arrangements to send Happy back to India safely but Happy doesn’t want to return! She feels her father will get her married to Bagga forcefully on her return. She starts blackmailing Bilal to let her stay at his house discreetly, or else she will accuse Bilal and his father of human trafficking her from India.
Bilal agrees and plans with his fiancé Zoya that the only way out of this mess is bringing Guddu to Lahore, get the couple married, then deport them to India. Everything was supposed to go as per the plan, but this situation takes a 360° turn when Guddu comes to know of Bilal’s plan and Happy’s whereabouts.
