The Storyline of The Movie ‘Pushpa: The Rise Pushpa, a laborer, worked at a mill. However, he doesn’t carry himself like a mere labourer; he works at a mill because he has to pay off his debts and needs money.
He doesn’t show respect to the mill owner just because he pays him, as Pushpa feels that’s his right for the work he does. Looking at his attitude many chided him, but Kesava, his peer at work, saw that Pushpa had it in to make it big in life, and he decided to accompany Pushpa wherever he went.
Life takes Pushpa to the world of red sandalwood, a rare wood that is highly demanded worldwide and is found only in the Seshachalam Hills of Andhra Pradesh, and its trade is illegal. Pushpa starts trading red sandalwood. On one occasion, when Pushpa manages to hide red sandalwood worth crores from the police and doesn’t disclose any information even after he gets beaten up brutally by the police, Konda Reddy gets highly impressed.
In turn, much to his youngest brother (Jolly Reddy)’s dismay, Konda Reddy makes Pushpa a partner of 5%. Hereon begins Pushpa’s journey of rising to the top. But the journey to the top is never easy, and so is Pushpa’s journey, filled with obstacles at every step. Some of them were created by Jolly Reddy, fueled by his jealousy as Pushpa gained more trust from his brothers.
At his best, Pushpa gained control of the entire syndicate, but then as his new roadblock Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, the new SP, took charge of the district. They start off on the wrong foot when Pushpa tries to bribe, and Bhanwar sneers mean comments at him about his parent’s past and make him call himself ‘sir.’
