The Storyline of the Movie “Dasara” Set in 1995, the story revolves around three friends: Dharani, Vennela Keerthy Suresh, and Suri. A love triangle is developed when they grow up. Dharani has been in love with Vennela since childhood, but later he learns that Vennela has feelings for Suri.
Dharani and Suri share a brotherly bond in their friendship, so much so that Dharani sacrifices his love for Vennela and decides to get the duo married. However, Vennela’s family objects to the marriage due to Suri’s involvement in stealing coal.
Dharani is determined to bring a change into Suri’s life so that he can start a family with Vennela. During this time, a local match is announced by the village’s political rival, Chinna Nambi. Dharani makes Suri participate and win the match.
One thing leads to another, and Rajanna, a political leader, asks Suri to participate in the sarpanch elections. Suri wins the election, and eventually, his marriage is fixed with Vennela.
Everything goes as planned until the wedding day. Just before their wedding, Suri and his friends are found dead in a mysterious way.
Dharani is burning with rage and sets out to investigate the matter. He finds out that Chinna Nambi was behind his friend’s murder, as he did not want Vennela to get married to anyone due to his lust for her.
Dharani decides to marry Vennela in order to protect her from Chinna Nambi. But she starts hating Dharani, thinking he forcefully married her, but over time the bitterness starts to wear down.

On the day of Dusara, Vennela learns from Chinna Nambi about his involvement in Suri’s death and how Dharani was protecting her throughout this time.
On the same day, Chinna Nambi plans to kill Dharani and hire men for the same. But the tables turn when Dharani beheads Chinna Nambi, and all of his men are killed as well.
Dharni gets arrested for the murder and is sentenced to imprisonment for a few years. He realises how the alcohol is ruining the lives of the villagers and sets the bar on fire.
