It presents the thrill and action to the audience. The movie is about an Indian Army officer who was blamed for the prime minister’s murder. Moreover, Jaya (Nargis Fakhri ) is also there and is a British correspondent in Sri Lanka. The movie is all about proving the truth, and the hero is proving himself to the whole nation. Madras Cafe is unique because of its real story base.
The Storyline of the Movie Madras Cafe The story starts when Vikram starts narrating the story to the priest. Five years ago, there was a battle going on between the Sri Lankan army and the Tamil youth who had taken weapons and joined the LTF (Libration Tamil Force). Things were going wrong when the Indian government decided to sign a peace accord with the Sri Lankan Government. They refused the peace accord, and the Indian peacekeeping army was forced to withdraw from the island. The RAW called Vikram for the meeting in Delhi with the officers.
After the meeting with RD, Vikram set out for Sri Lanka and met the British war correspondent Jaya Sahni and tried to find out a way to stop the rebels. He was in search of someone who could help him to find Shri, the only person who can stand against Anna. Vikaram met Shriand and promised to help him rise against Anna by providing him arms. The arms deal was on 6 July however because of LTF attack the plans failed and Balakrishna got angry and asked him to safehouse. Later Vikram met Jaya and Jaya told him that she knew their plan and before his arrival a foreign man and an Indian Officer met on the island.
RD and his team were shocked by the news of Vikram being Kidnapped and sent the force to rescue the injured Vikram. Balakrishna suggested he go back to India however Vikram started feeling suspicious about Balakrishnan. He asked S.P. to have a side eye on Balakrishna’s activities. Vikram and the Indian force attacked the LTF base camp and after a long fight, Vikram came back to his home. Anna also survives and kills Malaya and Shri, but during this Indian Prime Minister resigned. When Anna what happened to him Balakrishna asked him to ignore this and of which S.P. concluded that Balakrishna can be the mole in the team. SP told Vikram everything and after that, Vikram went to meet his wife who was murdered Vikram’s associate in Kochi, Kush, tells him that Vasu has been tracked. Vasu revealed that Balakrishna and others from Singapore helped him with this.
Vikram reached Bangkok where Jaya’s source told him he had the tape. But Vikram was shocked to see that Balakrishna was forced to provide the information and later committed suicide. In India, RAW found Balakrishna’s fake passport and bank accounts and understood the code red. Vikram was asked to seal the coastline and After a short meeting with Jaya Vikram saw an X in the clock in the airport and understood that it was for the Ex-Prime Minister. On the same day, there was a rally of the Ex-Prime Minister at X p.m.(10 p.m.) Then RD called the Ex-Prime Minister and asked him to stop the rally but he refused. After a lot of security suicide bombers managed to go inside the airport and trigger the bomb at the correct time. Kills him along with herself and others. Later Vikaram submitted the reports and the investigation committee accepted the report. A few days later, RD resigns, and Vikram, after taking voluntary retirement, comes to Kasauli.
Back to the present Priest asks Vikram who won the battle. Vikram claims he didn’t know, yet in this conflict, the Sri Lankans lost their future and the Indians lost their Prime Minister.
