The Storyline of the Movie Gadar 2 In 1954, Tara Singh successfully returned to Punjab with his wife Sakina and son Jeete. Now, the story fast-forwards to 1971, and Tara Singh is a goods supplier to the Indian Army cantonment and wants his son Jeete to join the Army later. Meanwhile, Jeete who is all grown up is not much interested in studies but dreams of becoming a cinema star.
Tara Singh does not support his dreams and sends him to Chandigarh for higher studies. One day, Tara is informed about the third war between India and Pakistan and Lt. Colonel Devendra Rawat asks him for help in supplying Indian soldiers with weapons. Tara reaches there and while rescuing soldiers, he gets spotted by the Pakistan General Iqbal, who has a personal grudge against Tara.
Iqbal orders an explosion over the borders that results in the capture of several soldiers along with Tara Singh. When Jeete learns about the incident, he secretly travels to Pakistan and leaves a letter behind to inform Sakina. He meets his father’s friend Gul Khan there who assists him in his plans to rescue Tara Singh.
