A Sanatani filed a complaint against the superstar Ranbir Kapoor and his family for hurting religious sentiments on Christmas.
Recently, Ranbir Kapoor celebrated Christmas with his wife Alia Bhatt, and the entire Kapoor clan at Kunal Kapoor’s house. First of all, Ranbir and Alia took the internet by storm by revealing their baby girl Raha’s face, and now the Animal actor is in the limelight for his viral Christmas video in which he is seen pouring liquor on the Christmas cake and setting it on fire while enchanting ‘Jai Mata Di.’
A Mumbai resident found this act vulgar and he filed a complaint against Ranbir Kapoor with the help of two lawyers because he believed that the actor insulted Sanatan Dharam while lighting up the cake by saying ‘Jai Mata Di.’
Ranbir Kapoor’s Viral ‘Jai Mata Di’ Video
Sanjay Tiwari filed the complaint at Ghatkopar police station through his lawyers Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra. The complaint states that in Hinduism, the fire god is invoked before invoking other deities, but Ranbir and his family members deliberately used intoxicants while celebrating the festival of another religion and chanted ‘Jai Mata Di’. This hurt the complainant’s religious sentiments.
Since the complaint was lodged by the complainant, Ranbir Kapoor’s viral Jai Mata Di has been surfacing on social media and the netizens are giving their own opinions on the matter. One can find a copy of the complaint online where it is mentioned that Ranbir and his family hurt the religious sentiments by pouring wine on the cake and using the term Jai Mata Di.
However, no FIR (First Information Report) has been registered against Ranbir after the demand of the complainant under sections 295(A), 298, 500, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
