A singing sensation falls in love with an ordinary girl who has a beautiful voice herself but somehow gets in her way of being successful.

The movie stars Aditya Roy Kapoor, who was recently seen in Rastra Kavach Om , and Shraddha Kapoor The movie is the sequel part of the 1990 musical movie ‘Aashiqui’.
Set in the year 2010, the movie is about a famous yet failing singer, Rahul, falling utterly in love with a struggling and indeed a very talented singer, Aarohi. Aarohi is all set to be the next star in the music industry but is always somehow distracted by Rahul’s drinking problem. Sounds intense, isn’t it? So let’s dive in and get to know all about this immensely romantic movie.
Aashiqui 2 – The Storyline The movie starts with Rahul having a blast at his concert, fans dying to see him but in an event, one of his fans throws water on him which rages out of him and he starts fighting with him. This leads to the concert being a total failure. After a while in a bar, he sees Aarohi singing his song, and realizes how beautiful she is and how beautiful her voice is.
He befriends her and promises to make her a very successful singer very soon. She leaves her job and trusts him in this. Because of her talent, she does become a very successful singer and starts to live the life she always imagined like. But due to her relationship with Rahul, she is often lured away by his problems and the mess he creates after drinking.
Rahul realizes that he has become a burden on Aarohi’s life and she can’t be totally successful until he is with her. With this, he takes a major step that affects both of them in a very serious way.
