Akshay’s performance as ‘Pind ka gabru jawan’ was promising, while Katrina earned a loyal fan following from her performance of London-bred Jazz or Jasmeet.
Namastey London is a story of Jasmeet, played by Katrina Kaif, and Arjun, played by Akshay Kumar. Jasmeet’s father forcefully marries her off to Arjun on their trip to India, while she already has a boyfriend in London.

De Dana Dan
De Dana Dan is a Hindi-language comedy movie released on 27th November 2009. This movie features Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Sunil Shetty, Neha Dhupia, and Paresh Rawal, among others. It is a story of two broke friends who kidnap a rich woman’s pet in desperate need of money.
The story revolves around their relationship with their rich girlfriends and how the two friends try to earn money to marry their love interests. Directed by Priyadarshan with a budget of Rs 600 Million, the movie went on to do average business.
However, it is one of the most “leave your brain behind” rewatched comedy films of the decade. One intriguing fact about this movie is that after Hera Pheri, this is the last movie that was released of the trio, that is, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Sunil Shetty. Welcome is one of those movies which you may rewatch with your friends for a chill and nostalgic evening. Director Anees Bazmee did a commendable job with a story of two mafia men who set out on a mission to marry off their sister to a respectable family.
In their comical mission uncle of the groom refuses to play the match, and a series of rib-tickling incidents occur, ending with the two being together. Starring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, and Feroze Khan, among others, Welcome made earnings of Rs. 177.91 crores, as opposed to its budget of Rs. 32 crores, hence making it a super hit movie. Singh is Kinng
Released on 8th August 2008, Singh is Kinng is a story of Happy Singh, a notorious but altruistic fellow who goes to Australia to fetch Lakhan, a don, to the village to meet his dying father.

It is a story of a search for money by Sam, Sagar, and Aarav, to pay off debts at the bottom of the ocean for a ship named ‘Lady in Blue’, which was allegedly sunk on purpose in July 1949.
As the trio advances on their journey, they soon find out about the hidden motives of one of them and the unknown dangers that await them. The movie fared poorly at the box office, with earnings of Rs. 63.9 crores, at a budget of Rs. 75 crores. Tees Maar Khan
Whether you remember the movie or not, you can’t forget Katrina and her exceptional performance in ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’.
