The Storyline of the Movie “Andaaz” Raj Malhotra lives with his elder brother and sister-in-law. He fractures his leg after an accident and is unable to walk for a while, but for psychological reasons, he’s unable to walk even after the fractures heal. After a while, the Malhotras move to Dehradun, where he befriends his neighbor Kajal (Lara Dutta recently seen in Kon Banega Shikharwati

Raj is selected for Indian Air Force and spent a year and a half in his training. When he returns, he finds that Kajal is in love with a multimillionaire Karan; Raj doesn’t disclose his feelings and tells her that Karan is the best life partner she could have, and they marry each other.
After a while, Raj moves to Cape Town for further training while his family moves to Nainital. There, he meets Jiya in a club, and she falls in love with him for his clean personality while he is unable to forget Kajal.
