It was directed, and written by Gippy Grewal (who also directed Shava Ni Girdhari Lal ) , with dialogue written by Rana Ranbir. Though many films have explored the importance of religion, only selected ones have been successfully able to awaken spiritually among the audience. Gippy Grewal’s film “Ardaas,” which is incredibly touching and has stunning photography, is a success in awakening kindness and love in the hearts of people with a strong storyline and impactful characterization.
Storyline of the Punjabi Movie Ardaas The film opens with a lovely recitation of Gurbaani, which not only describes the necessity to know God and connect with Him but also emphasizes the significance of learning from Him what His will is for us.
The movie Ardaas is set in rural Punjab. The film’s opening strikes with a spiritually enlightening experience; it talks about different intentions, from praying for a direction to praying in thanks and praise.
Even though the movie jumps back and forth in time due to the story, Gurpreet Chuggi’s portrayal of Gurmukh Singh effectively captures its essence.
Gurmukh, a humble and wise teacher from the city, chooses to work for a school in a small village where he becomes aware of the problems faced by the locals and aids them in resolving them.
He takes on this challenging position with confidence. While his performance improves Ardaas, it also opens up new opportunities for new actors with various astonishing talents.
Ammy Virk is attractively appealing as Aasi, while Rana Ranbir makes a strong impression as the kind-hearted mailman, Lottery. Mandy Thakkar portrays her character well and looks like a promising young wife waiting for her spouse with all honesty.
The movie greatly benefits from the young boy Mithu’s sincerity and depicts a touch of truth and suffering. You feel for him in certain scenes. Overall, Ardaas has notch-up the level of the Punjabi industry and gives a heart-touching spiritual message.
