Ardh is a plain-spoken straightforward Indianised depiction of an ordinary life of a struggling actor in Mumbai. The movie is directed and written by Palash Muchhal and stars Rajpal Yadav and Rubina Dilaik. The movie is brought to you in Hindi and is exclusively released on ZEE5 on 10 June 2022.
Ardh – The Storyline Ardh, meaning half, is a story of Shiva(played by Rajpal Yadav) about an ordinary man who desires to become an actor. But, with the struggling desire, he also has to meet the practicality of life where he has to work for his family’s survival. For the same, he cannot rely on his struggling life and so takes up an unimaginable position for livelihood to sustain his family.
Shiva, who was a theater actor, moves to Mumbai with a dream to see himself on a big screen and when he meets the reality, he disguises into a eunuch and the transformation helps him to buy the bread for his family.
The climax of the movie can give you goosebumps and can put you in tears. But, will also help you to see the reality of every struggling actor, depicting the real hardships of the ordinary people who are passionate to become actors.
