Badla – A murder case ruins two families: one of the victims and one of the accused.
Hindi Movie ‘Badla’ directed by Sujoy Ghosh, has managed to grab an IMDb rating of 7.8/10 with its thrilling suspense and plot. ‘Badla’ is also a remake of the Spanish film ‘The Invisible Guest.’
The story is about a successful businesswoman who believes she is falsely accused of a murder case. The movie is an ongoing interview where the protagonist Naina, played by Taapsee Pannu, has been consistent in 2022 with her movies like Thappad , Blurr , Dobaaraa , Haseen Dillruba , and more, tells the story of Advocate Badal, played by Amitabh Bachchan, recently seen in Uunchai , Jhund, Goodbye and more.
The Storyline of the Movie ‘Badla’ Naina Sethi is a successful businesswoman in London. She lives a happy married life with her husband and daughter, but that all changes when she is arrested for the murder of her supposedly secret love interest Arjun(Tony Luke). Naina continues to deny the charges and demands justice.
Due to not being in London then, Naina’s Lawyer asks Naina to meet another Attorney named Badal Gupta (Amitabh Bachchan). The movie then continues as an interview between Naina and Badal for the rest of the film. Naina explains how she and Arjun were blackmailed, leading to her getting attacked and Arjun being killed.
Things started to become a little clearer at this point in the movie. When Badal asks for the truth and promises Naina of the supposed witness to her testimony, Naina proceeds to tell him about an accident that had occurred when she and Arjun were coming back from the cabin, confirming that there were not only one but two murders.
Badal questions Naina, and she comes clean at the end, hoping for Badal to save her, but not everything is as you see it. The movie ends with twists, with the actual murderer revealed.
