Heartbroken over the death of his wife and child, Raghu formulates a plan to seek revenge from the people accountable for it.
The movie ‘Badlapur’ is a neo-noir film starring Varun Dhawan, recently seen in Bhediya , Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Radhika Apte, Yami Gautam, and Divya Dutta. The film is based on the novel Death’s Dark Abyss written by an Italian writer, Massimo Carlotto. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, produced by Dinesh Vijan and Sunil Lulla, and with an IMDb rating of 7.4/10, the film was a commercial success.
The Storyline of the Movie ‘Badlapur’ The film starts with two people robbing a bank and escaping with the money. Liaq (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) and Harman (Vinay Pathak) rob a bank in Pune. While running away from the police, they forcefully enter Misha’s (Yami Gautam) car, which was with her son then; still being chased by the police, Liaq and Harman panic and end up killing both Misha and her son. When Misha’s husband, Raghu (Varun Dhawan), reaches the hospital and finds out about the reason for their deaths, he is devasted and manages to beat Liaq, who is caught by the police.
But Raghu is not satisfied with only a little beating. He tries to find Harman, who is still on the run; even after visiting Liaq’s girlfriend, Jhimli (Huma Qureshi), and interrogating her, he still fails to find out about Harman’s whereabouts. Frustrated and tired, Raghu drops everything and leaves for a secluded life in a faraway area from Pune.
The movie skips to 15 years later, where Raghu manages to locate Harman, and his desire for the unfinished revenge surfaces again.
