Tollywood always lives up to fans’ expectations, whether it is Malayalam Thriller movies or Romantic movies . Numerous Malayalam movies were released in 2023, also all movie directors tried their best to showcase their creativity.
Still, not every movie can become the highest-grossing movie and sometimes the success of these films at the box office did not match their standard. But some movies have become the blockbusters all around India like Romancham or maybe Everyone Is a Hero also known as 2018 which was released recently.

After watching the film, people felt connected to it as they faced hardships. The film is an obeisance to all the people who witnessed the floods and knuckle down to help each other in the dark times.
The film was plaudit by the audience and became the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time.
Purusha Pretham
A police procedural film with remarkable hilarious comedy. The film is about the daily lives of police officers and the lead of the movie keeps the audience engaged with his story. Isn’t it unique as till now we just saw films related to good or evil police officers? But don’t underestimate the movie as it is based on a serious issue but with a changed story.

Iratta
A thriller and mystery film that will leave you in awe. Joju Geroge ‘s ambiguous role in the movie and his character keep the audience involved in every scene and will give you goosebumps till the end of the film. The story revolves around two brothers, DYSP Pramod and ASP Vinod. One night, Vinod dies suspiciously and the life of the police force turns upside down.
Iratta has some uncomfortable scenes by which you might end up hating a character or maybe loving it. It all depends on your perspective but what we guarantee is that the scenes will leave you in agony.
Thankam
Thankam is a crime film based on true events. It is written by Syam Pushkaran , a reliable writer who has scripted some splendid films. The film begins with a friendship but ultimately ends up as a murder mystery with a unique conspiracy. Watch the film at your own risk as it may make you question your loved one.
From an emotional scene to a haunting finale, Thankam meets the expectations of the people. As the final point, it gives you insights into the smuggling world and how dangerous it can be.
Romancham
After plenty of thriller and crime films, here comes the comedy film with a speck of horror. Romancham makes you laugh with logical humour and not with some hocuspocus scenes. The film is inspired by the real-life incidents. The writer and director have managed to startle the audience without a real ghost.
The story revolves around a group of teenagers who intentionally call the ghost with the help of the Ouija board but what’s more interesting is when the ghost plans to stay there only and this condition leads to some amusing scenes.

The movie revolves around the story of Manu, Meera, and Malu who are raised by a single mother.

Anuragam
Last but not least, Anuragam is a Malayalam language film that will fill your heart with joy. The story is about a boy who is madly in love with a girl but she always hesitates to squeal her feelings as her parents are not on good terms later on the guy plans to reunite them in order to win her heart.
