Bhediya Plot The premise of Bhediya is set against the backdrop of a village in Arunachal Pradesh, where Bhaskar (Varun Dhawan) and his cousin Janardhan “Jana” (Abhishek Banerjee) show up as contractors who were hired by Bagga (Saurabh Shukla) to clear the forests and convince the locals by selling the narrative of development in the area for their benefit.
The two brothers meet two natives named Jomin and Panda, who show them around the area. One night, Bhaskar is chased and bitten by a wild wolf. Jana and Jomin quickly take him to the hospital for treatment, where they meet Dr. Anika, a local veterinarian, who administers an injection to ease Bhaskar’s discomfort.
What follows is the supernatural phenomenon where Bhaskar shows signs of transforming into a werewolf, from a heightened sense of smell and hearing to a change in his eye color and the ability to talk to animals.
In the next scene, there is a shocking revelation when the two people involved in the construction are discovered dead with scratches and bite marks on their bodies, and Jana and Jomin start to speculate that Bhaskar is the shapeshifting creature that is behind the killings.
How will Bhaskar deal with this situation when he himself is turning into a werewolf? Will the trust in the brothers falter as the film reaches its conclusion? Who was the werewolf that turned Bhasker into one?

About Bhediya 2 In an event held by Jio Cinema called Infinite Together, Varun Dhawan confirmed the production of Bhedia 2. Later, the ambitious production house, Maddock Films, also confirmed the production of Stree 2 and Bhediya 2.
It was revealed that the Stree 2 release date will be held on 31 August 2024, and following that, in 2025, a sequel to Bhedia will be released, in which Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon will reprise their respective roles.
