The Storyline of the Bigil Movie The basic premise of this movie revolves around Michael alias Bigil, one of the best football players in Tamil Nadu who also gets a chance to lead the National football team but is thrown away by JK Sharma, the president of the Indian Football Association on the grounds that his father is a gangster and this factor can badly affect the competition.
Michael loves to play football, and his father fully supports him as he doesn’t want to make him gangster-like himself. His father makes several efforts for his son so that he can follow his passion and get a chance to lead IFT(The Indian National Football Team), but he fails.
One day, Daniel attacks Michael and his friend Kathir who leads the Tamil Nadu women’s football team. After this attack, Kathir was paralyzed for a year and requested the Tamil Nadu Football Association (TNFA) to make Machiel the coach of the women’s team so that the team could participate in the National Championship in Delhi.
After that, Michael leaves for Delhi with Angel Aasirvatham, a physiotherapist played by Nayanthara. Initially, the girls refuse to accept him as their trainer because of his criminal record. But later, they cooperate with him and find him the best coach that they have ever gotten. He trains them hard with the motive of winning the competition. Will hard work of Michael pay off? Will the women’s football team be able to win the championship? Forms the rest of the story.
