2022 was a disaster for Bollywood as most movies were bombed at the box office. Even the big stars failed to recover the cost of the film; Laal Singh Chaddha is a prime example of it. Still, Bollywood is trying to prove its worth and sprinkle magic on the audience; in this list of movies, Blurr is the latest addition released on 9th December 2022.
It stars Taapsee Pannu, known for doing out-of-the-box roles in movies such as Thappad, Badla, Dobaaraa , Haseen Dillruba , and Gulshan Devaiah, last seen in Badhaai Do . Both the actors are known for their experimental roles, and this time both join hands for Blurr, a horror thriller movie.
The storyline of the Movie “Blurr” The protagonist of BLURR is a woman who is looking into her sister’s death. Blind Gautami (Taapsee Pannu) lives alone in her own home in Nainital. She is concerned by the intruder’s presence in her home. She is going to hang herself when she decides against it. At this point, the intrusive kicks the stool underneath, causing Gautami to pass away.
After she senses that Gautami is not feeling well, Gautami’s twin sister Gayatri (Taapsee Pannu), who lives in Delhi with her husband Neil (Gulshan Devaiah), travels to Nainital. Though the police rule out foul play and conclude that Gautami committed herself because she was depressed after losing her vision, Gayatri doesn’t buy it.
She discovers hints that make her think Gautami was not alone when she passed away. She finds that Gautami had a boyfriend after asking questions. She also becomes aware that she is being followed, but neither Neil nor detective Chandel (Sumit Nijhawan) acknowledges this. Gayatri soon finds herself in danger and learns she will also more quickly lose her vision, much like Gautami. The remainder of the movie is based on what occurs next.
