The Storyline of The Movie ‘Bodyguard
In the movie you have Lovely Singh, the bodyguard, whose name is as contradictory to his profession as his soft heart is to his tough exterior. Lovely is appointed by Divya’s father for her protection. Staying true to his duty, he follows her everywhere, from the classroom to the bedroom.
Sick and tired of his constant intervention in her life, Divya comes up with a plan to keep him distracted. She starts flirting with him over the phone as an anonymous caller named Chaya.
Bewildered by this sudden admirer of his, Lovely initially dismisses her, but later, he starts falling for her by just speaking to her over the phone. Unbeknownst to him that Chaya is in fact Divya, he continues talking to her.
Divya succeeds in her plan as Lovely gets distracted. Hence she gets to go to a nightclub, but she is kidnapped and held hostage by Mahatre’s men, her father’s enemy. But Lovely comes to her rescue as always, making her fall for him.
With the fear of losing Lovely, she devises a plan to elope with him, but she knows Lovely would never do something like that to her father. Nonetheless, she carries out this entire operation as Chaya and asks him to meet her at the railway station.
Things take a dramatic turn when their maid informs Divya’s father of her plan. He sends his man to kill Lovely at the station. Even after Divya’s several attempts when she fails to make his father realize that Lovely is in love with Chaya, she sends her friend Maya to tell Lovely the truth.
However, on seeing Sartaj’s men, Maya tells Lovely that she is Chaya in order to save Lovely. Is this the end of Lovely and Divya’s story? Will Lovely ever find out who the real Chaya is? Watch the movie to find answers to these questions.
