A middle-class man falls in love with a well-heeled beautiful girl and marries her but fails to fulfill her expectations.
Chalte Chalte is a 2003 Romantic Drama featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherjee, last seen in Mardaani 2 . It is a love story between Raj and Priya who belong to opposite economic backgrounds. It is a realistic representation of what happens when two people from contrasting families come together.
The Storyline of the Movie ‘Chalte Chalte’ The story of this movie goes around Raj and Priya, who are too different but fall in love with each other. Raj belongs to a middle-class family and runs a small trucking transportation company, while Priya’s family status is quite high, and she is studying to become a fashion designer.
They meet for the first time when Raj’s truck collapse with Priya’s car and later at a wedding. Raj finds Priya to be the perfect girl for himself and decides to approach her.
When Raj gets to know that she is already engaged with her childhood friend, Sameer, he follows her to Greece and keeps wooing her. After noticing all his attempts, she accepts his proposal. Somehow she convinces her family, and they get married.
After one year of their marriage, they face a tough time, and their relationship comes to the condition of breakage when Raj suffers from a financial crisis, and Priya borrows some money from Sammer. After knowing this truth, Raj infuriates Priya and accuses her of infidelity. Priya couldn’t tolerate this blame upon herself and left home.
Will Raj realize his blunder and be able to take back Priya in his life? Forms the rest of the story.
