The Storyline of the Movie Chatrapathi A woman who lives at the coast of Sri Lanka is a mother of two young boys, Ashok and Shivaji. Her name is Parvati. Ashok is her biological child whereas Shivaji is the adopted one. Mother love is as pure as soul and the love she imparts is always the equal but Ashok gets jealous of Shivaji.
One day the villagers were forced to evacuate the coast where a fire accident took place. Ashok tells his mother that Shivaji died in the accident leading to separation from his family. Shivaji ends up on a different boat and lands at the Vizag port. His life revolves around the port but the search for his mother never ended.
Vizag port is dominated by Baji Rao who uses refugee labour for his profit. Shivaji is an aggressive guy who is supported by his well wishers. One day his aggression turns into a fight against another refugee and people start calling him Chatrapathi.
But Ras Bihari arrives at Vizag port to hunt Shivaji down as he kills his brother Baji Rao. Ashok lands on the same place too. Will he know Ras Bihari’s intentions or will Shivaji ever beagle to meet Ashok?
