Chhalaang – The Storyline The story is about Montu who is quite a lazy and uninspired PTI teacher in a school in Haryana. Then, out of courtesy of his father he gets a job as a lawyer. Soon Miss Neelima arrives in the same school as a computer teacher and Montu finds himself falling in love with her.
Montu finds out that the school is hiring a new PTI teacher who has a certified degree in the same field, which Montu didn’t have. Due to such circumstances, Montu agrees to be his assistant. Soon enough Montu realizes that the new PT teacher is much better than him and also realizes that he cannot quit his job.
Hence, he challenges Inder (the new PT teacher) in a sports competition; basketball, relay race, and kabaddi. Montu and Inder start to coach two different teams for the match and begin with their competition in the school.
