Storyline of the Movie “Chhapaak” Fighting with the necessities of life, Malti (Deepika Padukone) is an acid attack victim and is searching for a good job. Amol’s NGO provides medicine to acid attack victims and tries to lead a better life. Malti joins this NGO and raises her voice against the attack on herself and fights her battle with impunity. She also demands changes in the law to ban acid.
Malti became famous all over the country for her petition. Malti was a class 12 student when Bashir Khan, a neighbor boy, proposed to her for marriage. On Malti’s refusal, he decides to take revenge and one day, on the way, attacks Malti with acid. In an instant, Malti’s life changes. From a laughing, dreaming girl. Malti becomes a crying victim and then a self-confident and an inspiration to millions while facing challenges. This journey is worth watching.
