Chhorii (translation: Girl) is a 2021 Bollywood Hindi-language horror movie which is directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, Jack Davis, Shikhaa Sharma, and Shiv Chanana. It is originally a remake of a Marathi movie named Lapachhapi (2017). This movie is streamed on Amazon Prime Video and Amazon members can enjoy the movie anytime. It is one of the scariest movies that is produced by Bollywood so far. Chhorii is undoubtedly a well-formed horror movie that actually justifies the genre, hence if you are a movie buff, missing this movie could be a huge regret.
The Storyline of the Movie Chhorii When financial issues attack the lives of Hemany (played by Saurabh Goyal), and his wife Sakshi (Nushrrat Bharrucha) who is eight months pregnant, have to leave the city and move to a village. The village belongs to their faithful driver namely Kajla (Rajesh Jias). The house is situated in the center of an enormous sugarcane field which is far away from the city. Bhanno Devi (Mita Vashisht) , the wife of Kajla, offers help to Sakshi and takes care of her.
But, this house and the field are surrounded by paranormal forces. The three kids keep coming and going around and often meet Sakshi. The kids are always accompanied by a woman clad in a red sari who is playing hide and seek with the children. And, there is a radio that mysteriously plays a lullaby, adding intensity to the already scary situation. Sakshi eventually discovers that the place has several hidden secrets.
