The Storyline of the Movie “Daag The Fire” A former Indian soldier Karan wants to take revenge on a lawyer Ravi characterised by Chandrachur (also seen in Cuttputlli
At a party, he shoots Ravi but his wife Kajal comes in between and uses her body as a shield to protect her husband. He again fires and hen Ravi gets hit and loses his memory. In the hospital, Kajal dies while his father-in-law takes help from a girl, Kajri to pretend as Kajal and helps them to retrieve his memory.

Karan keeps stalking Ravi inside the hospital. He and Kajri collects all the proof which states that his father Satya was innocent. After getting his memory back he promises to help them and proves Satya innocent in the court. This leads to the happiness of Kajri and Ravi while Karan surrenders himself to the police.
