A 2019 Telugu film, filled with action, drama, and romance written and directed by Bharat Kamma. The film stars one of the most famous South-Indian actors, Vijay Deverkonda. The film was shot in Telugu only and was later dubbed in Tamil and Malayalam, and later in 2020, the movie was also dubbed in Hindi for the YouTube fan base.
The film received quite mixed responses from the critics. The acting and music were muchly appreciated, whereas the audience had quite an issue with the length of the movie. But the good part is the movie was unbelievably amazing and is still having its hype even after 3 years.
Dear Comrade- The Storyline The movie starts with the lead character Bobby lying there drunk and highly dejected and angry with the fact that his girlfriend Lilly doesn’t want him in her life anymore.
The movie then goes back to the flashback where it all started, where Bobby is the student union leader of his college and deals with several issues. Once Bobby is coming back from somewhere when he has a minor accident with Lilly and as compensation, he takes her money to get his bike repaired. After a while, he remembers that Lilly is in fact his childhood friend. During a local cricket match, Bobby discovers that Lilly is a state-level cricket player. He starts to fall for her afterward and is quite impressed by the fact that she plays so well.
During a friend’s marriage, he confesses his love for her, however, Lilly rejects him saying they both have different life paths, and she goes back to Hyderabad without even bidding him goodbye.
After she leaves, Bobby can’t stop thinking about her and drives all the way to Hyderabad just to see her. There he tells her that he can do anything for her, and she reciprocates his love as she confesses that she couldn’t stop thinking about him either.
Their love story takes up a turn after that only till Bobby gets into a very serious fight with one of his college mates and gets seriously injured too. Lilly asks him to either stop his aggression and get into such rageful fights or be with her. Bobby gets angry again and tells him to leave the hospital in front of everyone only to realize later what he did and how it can ruin his relationship with Lilly.
Will they be able to sort this out? Will Bobby control his rage or lose her forever? That’s something you should see and know.
