‘Delhi Belly’ is an Indian English-language action-comedy film. The film deals with crime fiction and dark comedy along with the action. It is written by Akshat Verma and produced by Laal Singh Chadhha Chhatriwali , Mission Majnu , A Thursday , Kedarnath , Chennai Express
The film is available in both Hindi and English language on its OTT platform. The film was yet another success of Imran Khan, producing under Aamir Khan. The film also has a Tamil remake named ‘Settai’, directed by R. Kannan.
The Storyline of the Movie ‘Delhi Belly’ Tashi (Imran Khan), Nitin (Kunaal Roy Kapur), and Arup (Vir Das) are three roommates in the movie. Arup is a cartoonist, Tashi is a journalist, and Nitin is a photographer. They all have a lot of debt and lead a miserable life together in a dark apartment. While one would think that their lives couldn’t get any worse, fate had played yet another joke on their life.
Everything started when Tashi’s girlfriend asked him to deliver a package for Vladimir Dragunsky (Kim Bodnia ) to Somayajulu (Vijay Raaz ). Tashi then asks Nitin to deliver the package for him, but when Nitin gets diarrhea and is unable to do so, he hands Arup the package along with a stool sample for delivery to Nitin’s doctor.
Arup however, mixes the two bags while delivering the packages. Somayajulu, on the other hand, is furious for not receiving his package and as a result tortures Vladimir, which led them to find out about the mix that had supposedly happened.
