A TV news reporter is tasked to cover the 20th memorial service of the late politician Anand Dighe. But when the internet couldn’t provide her with the details she needed for her story, she decides to meet the common Thanekars.

The Storyline of the Movie ‘Dharmaveer’ The film opens with TV news reporter Tanvi Mahapatra, played by Shruti Marathe, upset that she was forced to cover the 20th memorial service of the late politician Anand Dighe, played by Prasad Oak, rather than attending her first Bollywood party. Tanvi had no idea what she would discover in a few hours when she got to the Thane railway station.
Tanvi decides to return to her hotel because she is unable to obtain any interesting or new information about Anand Dighe. She meets a driver in an auto-rickshaw who tells her to meet the common Thanekars because they were the only ones who could honestly describe Anand Dighe because he had devoted his life to them. And so, Tanvi’s journey to realize Anand Dighe’s great personality thus began.
