Kamal and Neelam invite their friends and family on a cruise on their 30th Anniversary. However, when the drama begins to unfold on the cruise, their trip does not go as smoothly as they had anticipated.
The movie, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do ‘ was released on 05 June 2015 in the theatres. It is a Hindi-language romantic comedy movie dealing with the problems of a dysfunctional Indian family.
The film stars Anil Kapoor (showcased his stellar acting skills in Hotstar’s The Night Manager hottest mature Bollywood actresses in 2023 Gully Boy starrer Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, and Farhan Akhtar. The film, which was directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, did a good job of illustrating the problems that a brother and sister face daily.
The actors’ performance made many of the scenes feel real and affected many people close to their homes. Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti wrote the script for the movie.
The Storyline of the Movie ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ The movie surrounds the Mehra family. Kamal Mehra (Anil Kapoor ) is a billionaire businessman, his wife Neelam (Shefali Shah ) is a housewife, his daughter Ayesha (Priyanka Chopra ) is married and runs a successful travel business, and his son Kabir (Ranveer Singh ) who is forced to take part in Kamal’s business.
In celebration of his 30th wedding anniversary, Kamal invites his friends and family for a cruise across the Mediterranean Sea. The drama picks up as their celebrations get underway. Kabir declines Kamal’s attempts to have him marry the daughter of one of his friends.
In the meantime, Ayesha is in a bad marriage. Her husband is a controlling and narcissistic person, who feels the need to dominate Ayesha. And when everything comes crashing down on Kamal, he struggles to deal with and accept reality.
