Anurag Kashyap’s directorial Dobaaraa (2:12) hit the box office among Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan . After the failure of her last movies, Taapsee Pannu is returning in this movie in the lead role. The movie is said to be the remake of the Spanish movie Mirage and Anurag Kashyap took the command of serving this movie to the Indian audience.
The movie follows the time travel theme which is new to Indian audiences, and it’s interesting to see the audience’s reaction to this new concept. However, amid tough competition, a small-budget Telugu movie karthikeya 2 , reached milestones, and the upsurge in the movie collection is enough to prove that content is king for the audience.
The Storyline of the Movie “Dobaaraa” The story consists of the events between 2 characters and time travel between 1990 and 2021. A 12-year-old boy Anay died in an accident in 1996 on a weird rainy night. But before the death, he saw his neighbor murdering her wife and clearing the death shreds of evidence.
25 years later, Antara, played by Taapsee Pannu, and her husband bought Anay’s house along with her 5-year daughter, where she found an old TV set along with the recordings of Anay.
The next day, the same stormy night appeared, and Antara played the video, but shockingly both could see and communicate with each other; she saved the life of Anay by telling him not to go outside of his house. He did the same, but because of changed events, Antara woke up in an unknown house with a different identity.
She tries to find her daughter, but she doesn’t exist in this timeline, and her husband has married someone else. Now the movie is about Antara finding her daughter and identity, and how she unlayer the time traveling mystery that is worth watching.
