Doctor G Movie Plot Uday Gupta is a medical student who has finally cleared his M.B.B.S. exam. He and his mother, Shobha, are the only two members of the family and are everything to each other. Shobha wants to do something big in the field of cooking and become a social media star through her flourishing cooking channel. Uday has a best friend named Chaddi, who is also preparing for the civil service examination. Uday wants to become an orthopedic surgeon, but due to insufficient marks in the entrance exam, he failed to bag a seat in orthopedics in Bhopal. Unwilling to move to another city, he temporarily chooses gynecology. Ashok, Uday’s cousin, and an orthopedic doctor suggests he simultaneously prepare for next year’s medical entrance test. Uday meets Kavya Sharma, who is Ashok’s interest.
But, Uday’s journey doesn’t start quite well, as the head of the department first scolds him, the strict Dr. Nandini Srivastav, and then he is bullied by fellow students. Above all, female patients feel insecure while getting touched by a male doctor and hence refuse to get examined by Uday. But slowly, things start to change, and people start accepting Uday as a gynecologist. Meanwhile, Uday develops feelings for Fatima, one of his colleagues, and they kiss, but she is adamant about marrying her fiance and not moving forward with Uday.
There is a lot in the way of Uday, like a complaint by a woman and her husband for checking her without a female attendant. Then, he has to perform a delivery in the hallway as there is no time left. But, the biggest challenge he has to face during all this is Kavya getting pregnant. Ashok seeks help from Uday to abort the child, but because she is a minor, he cannot make any arrangements for her. Ashok takes an unethical path for abortion, and this is when Uday comes to rescue Kavya. The movie ends on a positive note, and the out-of-the-box plot makes it worthy of your time.
