Earlier, the release of Dream Girl 2 movie was set for June 29, 2023; then it was pushed to July 7, 2023; and finally, the makers announced the new release date as August 25, 2023.
Furthermore, there was much speculation about the delay of the film’s release in theaters, with many pointing out that the makers of the film want to reshoot some scenes. About Dream Girl 2019 (Prequel) Dream Girl 2019 delivers a laughter riot that fans shouldn’t miss out on. Dream Girl was released on September 13, 2019, and marked the directorial debut of Raaj Shaandilyaa. The film’s plot revolves around a young man named Karam, who has been proficient in imitating women’s voices since he was a kid.
Now, later in his life, Karam has landed roles in local plays such as Sita in the Ramayana and Radhe in Krishnaleela, which has earned him accolades from the people of Gokul. However, his dad wants him to find a regular job and settle down. Which he does soon enough. Karam gets a job at a call center that entertains the fantasies of people who call them; however, this job requires him to don the persona of Pooja.
Furthermore, he finds his life partner in Mahi (beautifully portrayed by Nushrat Bharucha), who later gets engaged to Karam, oblivious to what his job entails.
Eventually, Karam’s character, Pooja, became famous among the crowd in Gokul because of his perfect imitation of a woman’s voice; however, due to increasing unsolicited requests from the clients, he became frustrated and wanted to quit. But Mauji (the owner of the call center) blackmails him, saying that he will expose his identity in the neighborhood if he attempts to quit his job again.
