Emergency Release Date The initial release date of the film was October 2, 2023; however, due to a clash with the Ganpath movie starring Amitabh Bachchan and Tiger Shroff, the movie’s release date has been pushed to November 24, 2023. And now it will be released in the same month as Tiger 3 .
In a tweet, Kangana talked about this year’s movie calendar and pointed out how she zeroed down the date to October 2, 2023, following the film’s post-production timeline but had to move the film’s release date as she didn’t want it to clash with Ganpath.
Furthermore, the actress revealed the release date on the 48th anniversary of the third emergency in India, followed by a teaser video of the film on June 25, 2023.

The film is based on the events that unfolded in 1975 and reflects one of the most important moments in Indian political history, which is also considered the darkest period in post-independence India.
The film will depict India’s state during the 21-month-long emergency period from June 25, 1975, to March 21, 1977, when Former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi imposed a nationwide state emergency, following which media broadcasts and publications were censored and restrictions were imposed on civil liberties.
