Amaan doesn’t show up for six years, despite his mother and sister’s hopes that he is still alive and that they will one day reunite.

She then sets out to find her brother, willing to use any means, including the media, the law, or corrupt politicians. Fiza does her best to keep Amaan out of trouble when she does find him, but he is in an unfavorable situation.
