The Storyline of the Movie “Ghajini” Sunita, a medical student, is researching the anterograde amnesia case of Sanjay Singhania. Her professor asked her to not do some things as he is on the criminal list but she goes against it. Sanjay Singhania loses his memory every 15 minutes. So he uses a system of notes, photographs, and tattoos to bring back his memory. He wants to hunt down the murderers of his fiance Kalpana Shetty played by Asin Thottumkal (also seen alongside Salman Khan in Ready
A police officer, Arjun Yadav investigates the whole situation and goes to the diaries in Sanjay’s apartment. He finds out the history of both of them. Sanjay meets Kalpana, a very hardworking yet struggling model. Furthermore, after some incidents, Sanjay falls in love with Kalpana. Sanjay hides his identity and poses for her shoot as a random model Sachin.
He falls in love with her deeper and proposes to her. He gives her 24 hours to answer his question. Returning home he plans that if she accepts the proposal then he will reveal his true identity but if she says no then he will walk away quietly. Arjun starts reading another diary, and Sanjay attacks him and ties him. Sunita locates his apartment and frees Arjun.

Returning to their respective places to investigate more about Sanjay, Arjun gets hit by a bus and Sanjay goes to kill Sunita where he gets arrested. Sunita informs Ghajini that Sanjay is going to kill him. Due to sedatives, Ghajini’s men take advantage and remove everything which can bring Sanjay’s memory back. Moreover, Sunita reads the diary.
She finds out that Kalpana accepts his proposal but the only condition is that she can come close to him if she buys three ambassadors. Day by day things become more comfortable between them and the diary ends when Sanjay has to go overseas. After some research, Sunita finds out that Kalpana went to Goa to help some girl run away from sex trafficking and when Sanjay returns home he finds Kalpana stabbed. Ghajini hits Sanjay with a rod and kills Kalpana with the same rod.
Sunita feels sad for doubting Sanjay and then she helps Sanjay to recall everything which happened in the past. Sanjay tracks down Ghajini and kills his men. But due to bad fortune, he gets hit by Ghajini. The criminal plans to kill Sunita the same way but Sanjay’s memory comes back and he kills him. After six months, Sanjay returns back to his office and names an orphanage as Kalpana.
