“Darna Zaroori hai” means fear is necessary. A horror movie that consists of six different stories!!
Since childhood, I’ve been very fond of haunted elements. I have completed almost all horror series and movies, like 1920 London , Phhir , Khamoshiyaan , Kaali Khuhi , and many others. But recently, I came across an incredible movie called ‘Darna Zaroori Hai,’ which was released on April 28 April 2006.
While watching this movie, I noticed there are a total of six storylines. Yup, this film interweaves six different stories into one film, and each story is directed by different Bollywood directors, including Sajid Khan, Ram Gopal Varma, Praval Raman, Vivek Shah, GG Philip, J.D. Chakraborty, and Manish Gupta.
The Storyline of the Movie Darna Zaroori Hai At the beginning of the film, we see a young man named Satish, who is fond of films and lives with his mother. Being a movie buff, he goes to the theater every Friday to watch the last show of Bollywood movies. Like every Friday, he decides to watch the movie ‘Darna Mana Hai.’ His mother advises him not to take the shortcut through the graveyard as it is the full moon today, and evil powers become stronger at that time.
But Satish ignores her warning and takes a shortcut from the graveyard. He reaches the theatre safely, but on his way back home, he has to pay a heavy price for not heeding his mother’s warning.
The official story of this movie revolves around five kids who get lost in the middle of the woods and reach a haunted house. There they meet an old lady who probably lives in the same house. She narrates six scary stories to them, and the children take it as a game and bet on who is not scared at the end of the stories.
