The Storyline of the Movie Badhaai Ho Badhaai Ho movie opens up with a 26-year-old boy named Nakul Kaushik who is a stable person with a 9 to 5 job. His father Jeetender Kaushik is a middle-aged man and works as a ticket collector at the railway station, his mother Priyamvada Kaushik is a typical housewife, his younger brother Vishwas Kaushik alias Gullar is a high school student, and last he has a grandmother named Durga who has a dominated behaviour.
Nakul lives a cheerful life and is in a relationship with his colleague Reenu, but soon his life takes an unexpected turn when his father tells him about his mother’s pregnancy. This news shocks and embarrasses him and he starts avoiding everyone including Reenu. Not only him, but Gullar also feels ashamed of this news and Durga scolds Jeetender and Priyamvada for this act.
One day, Reenu asks Nakul the reason to avoid her to which he somehow reveals about his mother’s pregnancy. Reenu laughs over it and also tells her mother Sangeeta who is aware of their affair. Sangeets is shocked to know and also speaks ill about the Kaushik family. Nakul overhears everything and argues with her mother and leaves, breaking up with Reenu.
Nakul plans to take over the situation calmly and decides to fulfill his duties as a son. But what about his bond with Reenu?
