Rajni called ‘Jailer’ as average but later the film broke many box office records along the way.
The latest release Jailer is an action comedy movie, directed and written by Nelson Dilipkumar under the banner of Sun Pictures. The film star is a remarkable and one of the favorite South Indian actors from the Industry, none other than Superstar Rajnikanth , who is even at the age of 72, is unstoppable in taking box office blockbusters to new heights AGAIN & AGAIN.
With him as the lead, this movie casts many other notable actors from the South including Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Tamannaah, Sunil, Yogi Babu, and many others, who played supportive roles in it. Overall, the film has explosions of action but it was Anirudh Ravichander’s music that made this movie more captivating.

The Storyline of the Movie Jailer The movie opens up with a scene where police officers, including ACP Arjun, are investigating a missing idol from the temple. ACP Arjun is the son of retired Jailer ‘Tiger’ alias Muthuvel Pandian, who now lives a simple life with his wife, son Arjun, daughter-in-law, and grandson. He is often busy shooting YouTube videos with his grandson.
However, while investigating, Arjun comes across Seenu who is among the junior gang of the movie’s antagonist Varman. Seenu threatens Arjun that if he tries to interrupt their work, he will get his father into trouble. Arjun asks him to call his men, and Muthuvel picks up the call and they see all the men who came to kidnap him are severely injured.
Arjun puts Seenu into the bar but just after his release, Muthuvel is informed that his son is missing. He goes to Seenu and requests him to release his son if he has kidnapped him. But Seenu doesn’t tell him and rather challenges him and in rage Muthuvel kills him. This news reaches Varman and he plans to kill Muthuvel’s grandson but he manages to save his grandson.
Later, he gets a call from Varman who threatens him to destroy his family as he killed one of his men. Will Muthuvel be able to protect his family?
