The Storyline of the Movie Junooniyat Junooniyat movie opens up in Snowmarg where Captain Jahan Bakshi notices something suspicious in the water in the restricted area. He takes a chopper and jumps off a parachute to check out what it is and he sees a girl floating. He rescues that girl and scolds her for entering a restricted area. The name of that girl is Suhani and she belongs to a Punjabi family and is very fond of adventure.
She gets offended by Jahan’s behavior and asks for an apology letter from him which he refuses to give. Suhani is kept back on the Army campus for a day where she attends their Christmas Party, gets drunk, and sings songs with them. The next day, she again asks Jahan for an apology letter and he again refuses to which Suhani jumps off the bridge, back into the icy cold water.
Jahan again rescues her and takes her to the hospital where he finally gives her an apology letter. Suhani goes back to her home in Amritsar where she lives with her grandparents, her parents, and widowed Bhabhi. However, her Bhabhi suspects that Suhani might have fallen in love with someone. On the other side, Jahan who is not able to forget Suhani, visits Amritsar.
Coincidentally, they meet and are happy to see each other and soon realize that they have fallen for each other. Unfortunately, Suhani’s family learns about their affair which makes them angry. Now what will Suhani do?
