Well, this movie marks the directorial debut of Sonal Joshi who worked as an assistant director in movies like Tamasha , Dhoom 3 , and Jab Harry Met Sejal. The Storyline of the Movie Sukhee Sukhee is a 38-year-old middle-class housewife, living with her husband Guru, teenage daughter Jassi, and ailing father-in-law. Sukhee’s morning begins with preparing a cup of tea and the day ends with boiling milk. Meanwhile, the man of the house is struggling to run his blanket business, and a daughter is busy handling her head girl responsibilities.
Sukhee is a responsible wife, mother, and daughter-in-law but sadly, no one values Sukhee’s contribution to their life. However, Sukhee’s father-in-law is the only person who understands her and with whom she spends her time talking. One day, she gets a notification from her school besties with an invitation to the school union.
She talks to them for a while and remembers her college time when she used to be a popular girl in college and a house riding champion. But later she married Guru against her parents due to which they broke every connection with her and Sukhee dedicated her life as a housewife.
She shares it with her father-in-law who advises her to take a break and must attend the reunion. But at some point, she knows that Guru will never allow her to go to Delhi, still, she decides to ask for permission once. Will Sukhee be able to go for a school union?
